Job Title: Assistant Property Manager – High-Rise Residential/Mixed-Use

Location: Downtown St. Louis, Missouri
Employment Type: Full-Time
Reports To: Property Manager

Position Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Assistant Property Manager to support the daily operations of a high-rise property in downtown St. Louis. This role assists the Property Manager in maintaining the building’s functionality, enhancing resident satisfaction, and ensuring smooth administrative and financial processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Resident & Tenant Relations

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for residents and tenants, addressing inquiries, concerns, and service requests.
  • Assist with lease administration, renewals, and move-in/move-out coordination.
  • Support community engagement efforts and resident events.

Administrative Support

  • Maintain accurate records including leases, vendor contracts, and compliance documentation.
  • Prepare reports, correspondence, and communications as needed.
  • Assist with scheduling inspections, maintenance, and vendor appointments.

Financial & Leasing Support

  • Assist with rent collection, deposits, and tracking delinquencies.
  • Support budgeting and expense tracking under the guidance of the Property Manager.
  • Help manage leasing activities including tours, applications, and marketing efforts.

Operations Coordination

  • Monitor building systems and report maintenance issues promptly.
  • Coordinate with vendors and contractors for routine services and repairs.
  • Ensure common areas are clean, safe, and well-maintained.

Team Collaboration

  • Work closely with on-site staff including maintenance, concierge, and security teams.
  • Provide coverage and support in the absence of the Property Manager.

Qualifications:

  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Real Estate, or related field preferred.
  • 1–3 years of experience in property management or leasing, preferably in high-rise or urban settings.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in property management software (e.g., Yardi, AppFolio, MRI).
  • Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
