Growing restaurant group opening in Del Ray seeking GM, Exec Chef and Experienced Managers.
Job Summary : The General Manager is responsible for all aspects of operations at the company, to day-to-day staff management and guests. He / She should be an ambassador for the brand and restaurant. Provide leadership and strategic planning to all departments in support of our service culture, maximized operations and guest satisfaction. The General Manager is responsible for directing the management team and ensures that the company is in full compliance with its policies, procedures and service standards. The General Manager leads in all aspects of business planning and responds to audits to ensure continual improvement is achieved. It is the job of the General Manager is properly train new employees and ensure things are running smoothly on a day to day basis.
Job Responsibilities:
· Oversees daily business operations
· Develops and implements growth plans
· Trains low-level management and staff
· Improves revenue with new strategies and works with marketing to assist on their initiatives
· Evaluates performance and productivity
· Researches and identifies growth opportunities
· Maintain budgets and optimize expenses
· Provide solutions to issues (e.g. profit decline, employee conflicts, loss of business to competitors)
· Prepare regular reports for upper management
· Ensure staff follows health and safety regulations
Job Requirements:
· At least 5-8 years of proven experience in a General Manager or similar role
· Knowledge of business process and functions (finance, HR, procurement, operations etc.)
· Strong analytical ability
· Experience in planning and budgeting
