Music Production Instructor

Caffeine Academy is a state-of-the-art educational facility where we teach our students of all abilities to become DJs, music producers, videographers, artists and much more. We provide our students with talented instructors with years of experience as professionals in their fields. Our curriculum incorporates both the content creation and business aspects of the music, video and arts industry. We teach the latest technologies utilizing top-of-the-line equipment. Caffeine Academy's intimate class setting allows students to receive personal attention and hands-on training. Description:

To work part-time or full-time providing private and group music instruction to students with all abilities and backgrounds; may include music production and DJing.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain a fun and enthusiastic environment
• Deliver instruction in music production using Logic Pro X
• Adapt to students interested in diverse styles (eg: hip hop, pop, rock, house, etc.)
• Manage time effectively to balance student needs and attention
• Other duties may be assigned by company discretion

Knowledge and Abilities:

• Must demonstrate a passion for music and enthusiasm to help others to learn and grow
• Must demonstrate patience, understanding and ability to adapt your teaching style to meet the needs of each individual student
• Must demonstrate strong communication skills
• Have a friendly, upbeat and inviting personality
• Display a general understanding of music concepts and be able to share that knowledge with others
• Effective time management and organizational skills
• Ability to work effectively with staff and management

Qualifications:

• Preferred work experience with students of all abilities
• Experience in Audio Production Software (Experience with Logic Pro X is a plus)
• Afternoon, evening and weekend availability is a must
• DJ experience is a plus
