Job Description
Our client, a global consulting leader, is seeking a highly experienced SAP PPDS (Production Planning and Detailed Scheduling) Consultant for a remote contract engagement.
Responsibilities:
Provide expert guidance and configuration support for SAP PPDS
Utilize planning heuristics, optimizers, and interactive tools to drive production and scheduling processes
Support detailed scheduling and background planning activities
Maintain pegging relationships and monitor production alerts
Collaborate with project teams and stakeholders to ensure timely execution
Requirements:
10+ years of experience in SAP PPDS
Strong experience in process manufacturing industries (preferred)
Experience with S/4HANA ePPDS (bonus)
Proficiency in:
Production planning heuristics/optimizer
Interactive planning and scheduling tools
Detailed scheduling heuristics/optimizer
Pegging relationships and Alert Monitor
