Responsibilities Configure, implement, and maintain Cisco Firewalls and Web Security Appliances (WSA). Provide support for Cisco Security Management Appliances (SMA) and related systems. Review and optimize firewall rules and access controls for security and efficiency. Collaborate with cybersecurity team to implement policies. Conduct security audits and recommend improvements. Maintain documentation of systems and procedures. Train team members on Cisco security products. Stay current with Cisco security developments. Coordinate with vendors, clients, and technical staff on network management. Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field. At least 10 years of general experience and 8 years specifically with Cisco web appliances and firewalls. Must hold DOD8570 IAT Level 1-3 certifications. Deep knowledge of network protocols, routing, switching. Experience with firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, web security appliances. Strong problem-solving and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and in teams. Excellent communication skills. Understanding of security standards and best practices. Preferred Qualifications: Cisco certifications (CCNA Security, CCNP Security, CCIE Security). Experience with other security appliances. Proficiency in scripting languages like Python or Perl.
